What We Do
The Guyanese Languages Unit (GLU) is currently within the Department of Language and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Education and Humanities at the University of Guyana. It is affiliated with the International Centre for Caribbean Language Research (ICCLR).

To protect and promote Guyana's native languages by raising awareness, delivering educational programmes, supporting communities, and providing translation services, ensuring these languages thrive for future generations
